Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are an integral part of the real estate due diligence and decision-making process for the purchase of commercial properties, and are performed to the ASTM Standards E1527-13 or E2247-08. To schedule your Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, call Parthenon at (877) 218-1010 or request more information.
Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
A Phase I assessment looks at the environmental conditions, presence, or likely presence, of any hazardous substances, pollutants, and contaminants. These hazardous substances are defined by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). This assessment includes a site visit to assess current and historical site operations, as well as operations from neighboring facilities. In addition, an historical and regulatory review is performed to identify environmental issues such as historic environmental conditions that may affect property values and/or compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
